WORLD OF WARCRAFT: FOREVER / CLASS GUIDE
One character, several forms and a choice of tanking, damage or healing.
Druid is for players who enjoy changing their approach without leaving the class behind. The three current trees support ranged spellcasting, the shared Bear and Cat toolkit, and healing. Feral Combat contains both tank-oriented and melee-damage talents, so understanding the role of each form matters as much as reading the tree's name. Forever also adds Skyborne Druids with new forms designed for that race.

THREE WAYS TO BUILD YOUR CLASS
Compare the three trees and a few of their defining talents. Names, ranks, and descriptions below come from the attributed beta snapshot; the summaries are editorial guidance.
Datamined · source build 1.60.1.69876 [5]
Ranged spell damage
Develops Arcane and Nature spells, periodic damage and Moonkin Form. It includes a concrete Wrath-to-Starfire interaction rather than requiring assumptions from another version of Balance.
Adds periodic Nature damage and lowers the target's chance to hit with attacks.
45 Mana | 30 yd range | Instant
The enemy target is swarmed by insects, decreasing their chance to hit with attacks by 2% and causing 48 Nature damage over 12 sec.
Makes Wrath reduce the cast time of following Starfire spells, with a limited number of stored charges.
Your Wrath spell reduces the cast time of your next 2 Starfire spells by 0.17 sec. Stores up to 4 charges. Lasts 15 sec.
Your Wrath spell reduces the cast time of your next 2 Starfire spells by 0.33 sec. Stores up to 4 charges. Lasts 15 sec.
Your Wrath spell reduces the cast time of your next 2 Starfire spells by 0.50 sec. Stores up to 4 charges. Lasts 15 sec.
Provides a spellcasting form with armor and party critical-chance effects, while restricting healing spells.
35% of base mana | Instant
Transforms the Druid into Moonkin Form. While in this form, the armor contribution from items is increased by 360%, Omen of Clarity gains 100% increased chance to trigger, and all party members within 45 yards have their critical strike chance increased by 3%, exclusive with Leader of the Pack. The Moonkin cannot cast healing spells while shapeshifted. The act of shapeshifting frees the caster of Polymorph and Movement Impairing effects.
Bear tanking and Cat melee damage
A shared tree for the two combat forms, with separate resource and survival improvements. Read which form each talent names before choosing how to develop the character.
Adds a direct Mangle attack with a listed damage bonus.
20 Rage | Melee Range | Instant | 6 sec cooldown | Requires Bear Form, Dire Bear Form
Mangle the target for 100% normal damage plus 26.
Source-reported prerequisite: Savage Fury. Required rank: unknown.
Increases dodge chance and can grant Rage after dodging.
Increases your dodge chance by 1%, and gives you a 20% chance to gain 5 Rage each time you dodge.
Increases your dodge chance by 2%, and gives you a 40% chance to gain 5 Rage each time you dodge.
Increases your dodge chance by 3%, and gives you a 60% chance to gain 5 Rage each time you dodge.
Increases your dodge chance by 4%, and gives you a 80% chance to gain 5 Rage each time you dodge.
Increases your dodge chance by 5%, and gives you a 100% chance to gain 5 Rage each time you dodge.
Temporarily changes Mangle and combo-point-generating attacks, while clearing and preventing Fear.
Instant | 3 min cooldown
Causes your Mangle ability to strike up to 3 targets, removes its cooldown, and increases the critical strike chance of your Combo Point-generating abilities by 100%. Clears and grants immunity to Fear effects for the duration. Lasts 15 sec.
Source-reported prerequisite: Leader of the Pack. Required rank: unknown.
Direct and periodic healing
Strengthens healing spells and offers several responses to incoming damage: an immediate heal from an existing effect, an instant Nature cast, and healing over time for a party.
Instantly heals a target with an active Rejuvenation or Regrowth effect.
20% of base mana | 40 yd range | Instant | 15 sec cooldown
Instantly heals a target with an active Rejuvenation or Regrowth effect for an amount equal to the full duration of the periodic effect of one of those spells.
Makes your next Nature spell an instant cast.
Instant | 3 min cooldown
When activated, your next Nature spell becomes an instant cast spell.
Source-reported prerequisite: Naturalist. Required rank: unknown.
Applies healing over time to the target and their party, with the healing weighted toward the beginning.
550 Mana | 40 yd range | Instant | 6 sec cooldown
Heals the target and their party for 336 over 7 sec. Party members must be within 43 yards of target. The amount healed is applied quickly at first, and slows down as Wild Growth reaches its full duration.
Source-reported prerequisite: Living Spirit. Required rank: unknown.

Beta talent snapshot
Balance brings its spell family together. Eclipse lets Wrath shorten subsequent Starfire casts, while Insect Swarm adds periodic Nature damage and reduces the target's hit chance. Moonkin Form has a party critical-chance effect, increased item armor contribution and an Omen of Clarity interaction. Its text also prevents healing spells while the form is active.
Feral Combat contains both Bear and Cat decisions. Natural Reaction develops dodging and Rage recovery; King of the Jungle supplies Cat Energy through Tiger's Fury. Berserk changes Mangle's cooldown and target count, improves the critical chance of combo-point generators and provides protection against Fear for its duration.
Restoration offers several ways to answer incoming damage. Swiftmend requires an existing Rejuvenation or Regrowth effect on its target. Nature's Swiftness makes the next Nature spell instant, and Wild Growth heals the chosen target and that target's party over time. The current Wild Growth description is party-based, so do not read it as an unrestricted whole-raid heal.

BETA / REVIEWED SEPTEMBER 23, 2026
The opening beta supports characters through level 20. Blizzard plans to raise the cap to 30 later in testing, so a full tree preview includes talents beyond the opening playable range. [7]
Armor bonuses from consumables and buffs can be multiplied by Bear Form's armor bonus.

The planner uses an editable point budget. Required prerequisite ranks, tier requirements, level-by-level point rules, and Legacy interactions remain unverified, so a saved plan is an experiment to revisit as the beta develops.
